On debian-based systems

1. Clone repo sudo git clone https://github.com/simeononsecurity/ntripserver
2. Install dependencies sudo apt install -y socat git make build-essential
3. Build & install cd ntripserver ; make ; sudo cp ntripserver /bin/.
4. Create systemd unit file
   1. sudo micro /etc/systemd/system/ntripserver.service

   2. [Unit]
      Description=NTRIP Server Service
      After=network.target
      Wants=network-online.target
      After=network-online.target
      
      [Service]
      ExecStart=/usr/ntripserver -M 1 -i /dev/ttyUSB0 -b 921600 -O 1 -a server.org -p 2101 -m mountpoint -n username -c password
      Restart=always
      RestartSec=120
      TimeoutStartSec=300
      User=root
      
      [Install]
      WantedBy=default.target

5. sudo systemctl daemon-reload
6. sudo systemctl enable –now ntripserver
