SSH Tunneling for RDP
These steps will allow one to access RDP (or any other service that you may not want exposed directly over the internet) though an SSH tunnel.
Putty
Connection > SSH > Tunnel
- Source Port: 127.0.0.2:3390
- Destination Port: <RDP Host>:3389
- All other settings default
Connect to SSH host. Open RDP, connect to 127.0.0.2:3390. Log in as usual.
