Rover

The default configuration of the LG290P is to operate in rover mode. The easiest way to enter this mode is to reset the unit to defaults.

$PQTMRESTOREPAR*13
$PQTMSRR*4B

The resulting sentences are sent at 10Hz and are quite dense, a baud rate of 460800 is recommended. If 10Hz data is not required (or the bandwidth is too great) the sentences can be slowed down using the $PQTMCFGMSGRATE command. GSA1) and GSV2) are by far the longest and consume the most bandwidth. If you want a 10Hz location stream, but don't need GSA/GSV at that rate, they can be individually slowed to 1Hz:

$PQTMCFGMSGRATE,W,GSA,1*
$PQTMCFGMSGRATE,W,GSV,1*
